Inspire was invited to provide external refurbishment works to Crystal Palace Football Club in South East London in February 2016. The Club needed part of their external cladding refurbished and chose to work with us due to our reputation and expertise in this area.
The existing cladding had deteriorated with age and detached from the existing steelwork. To achieve the standards that have been set by the Barclays Premier League, it was necessary to upgrade the away supporters section at Selhurst Park Stadium.
The project involved the renewal of the existing cladding and the installation of new 32/1000 profiled steel cladding in goosewing grey with associated flashings. It was imperative that the work was carried out in between home matches so that match days were not affected. This required tight programming of scaffolding erection and clearance along with the site installation of the new cladding.
We successfully completed all of the external refurbishment works required and within the two-week timescale and to the client’s budget.
