We commit to undertaking rigorous checks to ensure this is upheld and request our suppliers provide proof of certification. We also take steps to ensure both the products we purchase from our suppliers and the services that we deliver comply with local regulatory requirements; industry codes, standards and specifications; and customer requirements.
The majority of our suppliers and partners hold long-standing relationships with Inspire and we have worked with them to develop mutually shared QHSE objectives around effective quality system that ensure the prevention, early detection and correction of non-conformances at all stages of procurement, manufacture, delivery and service. These objectives allow us to monitor quality performance and continually review and challenge the applicability and effectiveness of our processes.
We take the health, safety and environmental responsibility to our people, our clients and the public extremely seriously.
Health and Safety is one of our top priorities and we are dedicated to not just the control and management of the health and safety risks that arise from roofing and building activities, but also to the development of Health and Safety awareness in the refurbishment industry.
We make sure our staff and your employees are as safe as possible. We do this by investing heavily in training both on and off site and by using internal and external specialists. We operate a comprehensive Health & Safety management system and hold regular Safety Development Group meetings to review performance, set targets and agree on policy. Our policies and structures are built to support a commitment to continuous improvement.
Our team undertake regular training and development at all levels to ensure health and safety awareness is an integral part of our daily activities. We are constantly working to maintain and improve our excellent standards; as recognised by our key accreditations with CHAS, Exor, Safe Contractor and Constructionline.
We also carry out regular risk assessments of both our standard operating procedures and of individual projects to consistently look for ways to minimise or mitigate risk to health and safety. Our projects are managed by experienced project managers and site supervisors and are all overseen by our company Health and Safety Advisor.
Inspire is committed to minimising the impact of roofing and construction activity on the environment and local communities.
Our commitment to quality and sustainability means that we maximise the use of natural resources, local products and recyclable materials wherever possible. We advocate and encourage the use of environmentally friendly products, and look to partner with suppliers who reflect our environmental values and follow similar procedures to our own.
We train our staff to understand our environmental management policy and provide guidance on its implementation. The company recognises its obligations under numerous acts of parliament and encourages staff to treat current environmental laws, regulations and codes of practice as minimum standards to our operations.
We have a policy to promote the separation and reuse of waste material and commit to disposing of waste in a responsible manner. We endeavour to make continuous improvements to our environmental performance and prevention of pollution through careful product and transport selection and use.
We also look to ensure that, as far as reasonably possible, any dust, noise and fumes produced from our activity do not cause a nuisance to the local community or surrounding areas to where we are working.
