Meet the team

Gary Slawson

Managing Director

Gary is the Managing Director and established the company in 2015. With over 35 years experience in the construction industry, he developed the company structure to ensure adequate operational planning and ensuring that the operating objectives and standards of performance are understood by the management and other employees in the company. Gary is responsible for directing strategy towards the profitable growth and operation of the company. He oversees all areas of the business ensuring the company’s reputable growth is successfully maintained.

Charlie Slawson

Director

Charlie directs the commercial team overseeing all enquiries and ensuring tender return deadlines are met accordingly. He is also responsible as a main board member of the company in all aspects.

Tom Alexander

Director

Tom is responsible for overseeing all areas of the company. With over 18 years experience, initially as a Quantity Surveyor, Tom has extensive commercial experience. He is responsible for ensuring the profitable growth and operation of the company, as well as and directing all other departments in the business.

Georgia Slawson

Director

Georgia joined Inspire in February 2018, having worked in various roles in office/facilities management. She oversees the operational areas of the business and office logistics as well as assisting the Directors of the company with day to day duties.

Harvinder Azad

Finance Director

Harv is a commercial Chartered Accountant who joined the company in 2022. He brings over 30 years of commercial and finance management experience gained in a broad range of sectors including Telecoms, IT, Equipment Hire and over 12 years in construction.

Warren Stuart

Aviation Director

Warren joined Inspire in 2018 as Aviation Director. He has extensive knowledge of working in the Aviation Industry and is a strong communicator across both of our sites at Gatwick and Heathrow. Warren worked at our largest project to date, Lloyds of London, where he has been responsible for the day to day running of the project. Warren is a key contact for our aviation clients and is key to the successful running of our airport projects.

Neil joined Inspire in 2021 and is responsible for overseeing all projects. This also includes working closely with our direct labour force, subcontractors and supply chain.

Senior Contracts Manager

Chris is our Senior Contracts Manager at Inspire and has been with Inspire since its conception. With over 35 years experience in the industry, Chris has a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of roofing and is a strong communicator with our clients as well as suppliers.

Harry joined Inspire in September 2020 as Surveyor/Estimator. He looks after all aspects of enquiries and ensures successful submission of tender returns.

Rigel joined us in January 2022 initially as a Project Manager but most recently moved across to our commercial team and now undertakes the role of Surveyor Estimator. Assisting the commercial team in bid submission and enquiries.

Tom is our Quantity Surveyor and joined us in August 2022. Tom works across all aspects of the commercial side of the business including estimating, valuations and cost control management on projects. Tom is currently studying a diploma in Quantity Surveying.

Brandon Loxton

Operations Manager

Brandon joined in November 2023 as Operations Manager overseeing all of the Mitie Roofing projects for both old and new clients. He has a wide knowledge of working in the commercial roofing industry and is responsible for looking after projects and managing the day to day site operations.  He also oversees the commercial side of the business assisting with tender enquiries and bids.

Project Manager

Andy has been at Inspire since 2018 and is one of our Project Managers. He oversees the project aviation side of the business at both Gatwick and Heathrow. Andy was responsible for the project management at one of our biggest projects, Lloyds of London.

Sean Quinn

Project Manager

Sean is one of our Project Managers and joined us in July 2022. He has extensive experience in fast-track construction projects many of which have been in the City of London. Sean is involved in a number of varied refurbishment projects and in particular specialising in fire compliance works.

Site Supervisor

Pete is a Site Supervisor and is responsible for looking after the day to day running of our ongoing projects. A key member of the team for our on site operatives, he ensures all aspects of the site supervision are maintained and managed effectively.

Ben joined us in January 2024 as Assistant Contracts Manager, now Contracts Manager, working within the contracts team managing the day to day running of contracts.

SHEQ Manager

Brett has worked in the construction industry for 35 years and joined Inspire in July 2024 as SHEQ Manager. He is a competent Health Safety Environment and Quality all-rounder with a wealth of experience. Brett is responsible for overseeing all Health & Safety aspects of the business and ensuring standards are maintained at all times.

Mark Cardnell

Quality, Health, Safety and Environment Specialist

Mark brings over 30 years of experience to the organisation and is respected throughout the health and safety section as a leading subject matter expert. Mark has been nominated and recognised no less than five times in the IIRSM world awards, including the SHPs most influential person in Health & Safety in 2020, 2022 and 2023. In 2023, he was was nominated in for an MBE – Services to Health and Safety.

Michele joined us in January 2021 with extensive experience in finance and accounting. She is responsible for managing the credit control of the business as well as overseeing the overall account management for our suppliers.

Finance Controller

Kerry is our Finance Controller at Inspire and has been with us since June 2024. She has a wide knowledge in the Finance Industry as well as being a CIMA qualified accountant and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Finance department.

Miles Ellis

Head of IT

Miles oversees our IT operations and has extensive experience in IT project management and rollout strategies, including Windows Server and Microsoft 365 products. He is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all of Inspire’s systems and ensures we stay up to date with new technologies.
